ok. i'm suppose to be working on my 1600 jap words essay on aging society.. but i'm stucked at the 310th word.. how do i express the phenomenon where the population pyramid gradually changes into the aging population pyramid??????
i'm just going to paste what i've written so far.. just becuz i'm fed up with it. it's an interesting assignment.. i have much more interest in it than accountings.. i have all the resources in jap.. but i duno how to express such tough opinions in perfect jap!!! n look at it! it's almost half a chinese essay.. hahaha.. the more chinese characters there are in it.. the more complicated it is.. hahaha..

well. i'm an hour faster than singapore now. hahaha. day light saving... sobs. lost an hour on sunday!!! but i guess i will gain it back when i go back to singapore... =D
nth much to say.. except that i really wan my holidays!!!!!!!!
it's really a strange weather. rmb how it was warming up last wk? with houseflies n everything. suddenly it turned really cold.. like how it was in early spring.. we only have day-light saving during summer... so it should be summer now.. but it's under 20 degrees! brrr.
the earth is sick.. sobs.
n i received my birthday presents!!!!! finally........ [yeap. it's in april] i said finally cuz it was sent to me at the start of september.. n it reached on.... oct 27th... just how far is singapore away from australia???!! or.. jus how slow did tt ship travelled???!!! hahaha...
but anyway.. i love it!!! esp tt baking book.. so damn interesting.. sadly, it was a little dented due to shipping.. but it's relatively fine! n the japanese recipes is going to save me from making dinner.. i always have such a hard time thinking wad to cook.. hahaha..
n i'm going to cook now~!!! hahahaha. will let u know how it turned out. hohoho.

went to the city for shopping with hanny n tetsu on fri after sch. pretty much walking around.. looking for hanny stuffs.. but it seems ages since i last "shop".. hahaha.. obviously i didnt buy anything.. but we ate ramen at Nao.. nice!!!! i'm definately going back there. lols.
my projects r over~! yay. now i have to do my jap essay. sobs. hahaha.
anyway~ the shock i always get from the internet. kanjani8's cd is suppose to be release on next wed.. somebody already upload the full original cd already. lols. apprently.. u get the cd earlier if u pre-order..
i'm not usually a fan of their songs.. but they r hilarious..! and their PV [mtv] always bring tears of laughter to me n cs.. lols. besides! there's a dvd with clips of songs from their summer concert~! hohoh. ryo-chan~
oh! n NEWS concert started ytd at sendai~ although i dun have a chance to go.. got some pictures from their shop photos.. taken when they were at the photoshoot for the concert's pamphlet.. hohoho~ net~ here u go.. some handsomes for u~

1 week ago......
walking along the path towards the train station.. passed by the park... a few butterflies encircled around me.. they look almost like they will be luminous during the night.. in pale green.. matching the greenery in the park.. flying around the flowers.. flying alongside with me.......

review: hmm. a lot of ppl r turned off after the 1st epi.. which i agree may be a little boring.. but to me, i like seeing cool characters, like doctors.. it's quite a "technical" show.. where it focused on curing the ppl.. and the feelings going on between the doctors n the patients.. but it's not a love drama.. haha.. it gets more exciting at the end.. n i managed to cry at some parts. lols.

The show focuses on a man named Kenji and his younger sister Yasuko, whose parents died in an accident 10 years earlier. Kenji was once the leader of a gang, but in order to support him and his sister, he began making a living as a shojo mangaka. His character normally wears glasses and appears to be a gentle guy, but he throws off his glasses and reverts to his violent side whenever he tries to protect Yasuko from danger.
Part of the story follows Yasuko's romance with an intelligent and good-looking man named Jun Tsubaki. Jun's older sister Erika now runs a flower shop, but Erika was once a leader of a female gang, and she used to be in love with Kenji during those days.

This drama is a remake of the popular suspense drama The Devil that was aired in Korea last year. Ohno Satoshi will be playing the role of a two-faced lawyer, one of which is a kind hearted soul and the other who is plotting revenge, using his brilliant mind, on the person who killed his relative.
On the other hand, Ikuta Toma will play the double lead role of the man, who has become a detective due to his dark past, who is pursuing the mysterious series of murders and fighting against the devil

review: after the 1st ep.. it was not as serious as i thgt it would be. the director added a lot of comical parts to the orignal novel. ryo's character was super hyper, compared to his previous works. ryo as a host, erika cosplayed and nino as a geek. it was overall funny than serious. lols.

the little girl is super pretty!!!!!!

ytd was so unbelievably tiring! i went into concussion at 11pm and woke up at 1045am today. LOL.
it all started with accountings tut at 830am..
went to do management project during my 930 break..
went for management tut at 1030..
had lunch with hanny at 1130.. [management ended early..]
horrible tetsu texted me saying he's not going to izakaya tonight cuz of his assignments.. we all had the same expression.. "*gasp* tetsu is doing his assignments???!!" lol. teme-sama.
i met this other jap 1st yr student while we had lunch.. she's a mother of 3 kids now.. but she was so WILD when she was young.. i seriously mean wild..
my clean little brain was polluted by the things i nv wanted to know in my whole life. nearly sprayed my rice all over the stall. *sobs*
and i went for jap class at 1230.. it's sacchan's lesson today.. with lots of tongue twisting kanji.. nv knew that japanese had to go thru so many stages just to get a job. ZZZ.
went for accountings project at 130... we did all the way till 530.. n it was still not done! my butt was numb from sitting so long.. so i went to the snacks machine to get some toblerone......
n i saw tetsu! he WAS doing his assignments. the sun must be coming up from the west tml.. lols.
anyway, kind mich gave me a ride to the train station.. where i rushed all the way back home.. bath n everything.. left the house at 7 n head to izakaya Jun..
i really wanted to stay home.. but sho was giving me tt puppy dog eyes.. n said tt he wanted to show mali [his gf] his friends.. n all of us r dopping out... bla bla.. etc etc..
so fine. i went. n onli 6 of us turned up. i seriously avoided drinking.. despite it being izakaya. i will just slp there n then if i did drink.. lols.
we chatted.. ate.. laugh... n i think i saw shoudai san there as well.. maybe sacchan knows he's there.. tt's y she chose to go shopping instead of coming!!! grrrr.
we went for gelare after dinner.. wild strawberries gelato rocks! lols.
although throughout the whole outing i was missing my bed.. but it was good fun. we r just as lame as usual. no pics though! forgot to bring my cam in the midst of the rush.. =P

multicultural day.
got there early to set up with all the stuffs.. cuz i couldnt find sacchan in her office.. so i couldnt wear the yukata.. n moriyama sensei just gave me a happi coat.. it's really pronounced as "happy coat" in japanese.. often worn in festivals..
we had to cut the spring onions so sho stucked the roots part on his chin.. as his beard.. lols.

found sacchan after her class and we went to change in her office.
apparently her mum teaches people how to wear kimono n yukata as a part time job.. but she's too strict.. so sacchan gave up halfway.. lols.
so i stood there while she twirled around me.. trying to stifle me till death with the obi.. haha.. but thanks to her! we got it done!
zy escaped from her lecture and came over to join us in her "yukata".. it's actually a pajamas.. tt we bought in japan.. but it works anyway.. lols.

and we were trying to promote our food and sho was trying REAL HARD.
sho: hey jake! [in a very fake tone] i only have 95 cents, i duno wad can i buy with it!
jake: hey sho! [just as fake] i have a dollar n i noe wad i want!!
sho: really? what???
jake: these savory japanese okonomiyaki~~!
sho: OH MY GOD. they look really TASTY. i wished i had a dollar.
and they went on n on n on.... n ppl just IGNORE them. lols.
me and my okonomiyaki!
we actually have to go to jap class in this outfit.. i couldnt even relax or try to lean back onto the chair.. just sat straight and "elegantly" in class.. while yawning.. lols.
we packed up and moriyama sensei actually gave me the profits we made! abt 40 plus bucks.. he was quite sad with the results.. n thought that it was a little pathetic.. so he gave me an extra 50.. and ask me to use it with the rest of the helpers!!!

hanny then invited me to go to rina-chan's birthday party at the tavern.. a pub in our sch.. so we went and there were tons of food~

the banana choc cake she made was fantastic.. n somehow there were tons of choc cakes.. miss maud's brownies.. chips n dip.. n edamame!!
we finished this huge tub of edamame.. in less than an hour.. lols. it's addictive..
hanny was so nice to treat me a drink.. despite my constant refusal.. lols. we ended up with dai....sth sth.. hahaha.. i forgot wad it's called.. but it's ice blended cocktail or sth.. nice!
after tt we are just drinking n hanging out.. sho was suppose to leave when i was abt to go n change.. n when i came back he was still there.. n he just keep draggin the time.. though he has to work later on...
after some time jake asked him "when are u leaving?".. and sho was like "37 min ago.."
ZZZZZ.
haha.. we then started on a bottle of fuji apple sake.. lols. a little too strong for me.. so i added tons of ice into it.. hahaha.. n gave it to tetsu when i had to leave.. =D
ok. it's back to work once again.

is singapore the lastest 'it' place for a holiday? lols. suddenly everybody is coming. even sacchan is coming! but tt's cuz her cousin is living here.. lols.
or maybe me n hanny r being good promoters of singapore.
after we made everybody excited abt singapore. we went "but singapore is so small n boring~~!!"
hahahahahaha.
but i'm excited abt it. it shows that i have friends!! grown fond of them cuz it's just fun n ridiculous just by sitting tgt in the ref... cuz they will think of me whenever they organise anything or wanna go anywhere.. they will continue to ask me out despite how many times i reject them due to work.. [they did ask me not to be so studious. cant help it. singaporean.]

despite all the meetings n work i have.. i was being forced into this 'special' group for the multicultural day japanese stall.
special = do everything on our own n pray it works
so on top of everything i have on hand... i have to go shopping for ingredients with sho, shota n edward tml... probably have to go to somebody's hse to try making it.. thank goodness eddy is driving me from sch to the supermart..
wad's worst is... my whole management group is waiting for 1 girl.. just 1 girl.. to send her part to us so we can continue with our project..
but this lady, homesick, bf just came over from singapore.. n due to lots of other random reasons.. disappeared the moment we sms her to ask her to send us her work..
she promised to send it today.. but till now.. NOTHING.
even if she dun give a damn to her scores.. she's willing to fail everything.. can she spare some tiny little thoughts for us? cuz i'm not going to be this nice anymore when it comes to peer evaluation........... =)
oh. n i promised sho to go to izakaya Jun for dinner on fri with the whole gang.. SIGH.
i had my 1st can of red bull in my life this morning! i don't feel incredibly refreshed or anything.. but i couldnt slp during the afternoon!!!! zzz.
i've been reading n deleting my 400 over posts i've posted since 2004.. haha. lots of memories came back and i realised that my life over in perth is seriously boring!!
starting from this sem is probably where it gets a little more interesting.. with open house, sacchan's party, bars, ktv, royal show.. [can start reading from aug].. but somehow it doesnt sound as fun as my posts in the past.. aging....... lols.
this is goin to be the worst wk of this sem. if i'm still breathing after this wk.. i should be able to make it back to singapore..
if i'm free enough.. i'll post up photos from e okonomiyaki stall on thurs..
i have nobody for support at times like this. as in.. physically n mentally. but i don't see myself yearning for it like i might a few yrs ago. matured? numbed? lols. up till this day i still duno.

zy got a taiwanese drama from her friend.. ming zhong zhu ding wo ai ni.. n since we have no jap dramas at the moment.. we r watching it...
the more i watch it, the more i think xiao ming looks like chen qiao en!!!! the actions, the look, the whole feel.. hahaha..
it's multicultural day next thurs at murdoch.. we are doing okonomiyaki!! [a kind of food often found in osaka..]
moriyama sensei just decided it today in class. n he was like 'jovis! u have to wear the yukata and be waitress on tt day..'
ZZZZZZ. but it's better than sho. he's the coordinator of the whole stall.. muahahaha.
but i'm still piled with projectssssssssssssssssssssssss.........
i seriously feel like dying. burdened. cant breath. and a lot of times i choose to escape from it. =(

despite the throbbing in my head tt i'm experiencing now.. i decide to update abt the perth royal show today before i forget anything. warning! tons of photos. lols.
The perth royal show is an event that happens once every yr at the royal showground. yeap. there's a designated place and even a train station for it. it is actually to celebrate the agricultural activities in aussie. so there's lots of animals, contests, performances, and showcases. but there are also the carnival, food, showbags and other performances at the show. it's like disneyland, with real animals.
we made sandwiches for lunch, last night. zy bought a tomato dip and it tastes like mac's cheeseburger!! so i made mine with mashed avocado, tomato dip, tomato slices, salami and mortedella. lols. i actually ate tt n still stay fine now! =D
we waited for zy's fren, denise, to arrive in the morning and we set off at abt 1030am.. there is a straight train to the showground from our hse.. n zx was going to join us after his basketball practice..
it's a pretty cold day.. it says 18 degrees but it felt like below 10.. the wind was freaking huge.. even a jacket and a shawl didnt help a tiny bit!
there were tons of stalls selling lots of different showbags. depending on wad the brand is.. the tidbits showbags, for eg. cadbury, M&M, Smiths.., they will put in, say, $15 worth of products but charge u $10 for it. and sometimes they throw in a novelty gift.. like a chocolate dispenser or some other toy.. there are also toy showbags, for eg. black angel showbag includes wings, halo, skirt and a wand..
the showbags can be found on the webpage, thus gd showbags r often gone before the last day, which is today. but at the same time, many showbags go on offer in order to clear it before the royal ends.
zy wanted to see the dezhou acrobat troupe and so we did. it's not that bad, but it's not fantastic either. we've seen china do better. but the aussies seem to love it. haha.
there's the final showcase of the cake & muffin decoration competition so we went in.. n they did things to cake that will nv cross ur mind... n i found out that the more ur cake does NOT look like a cake.. the higher ur chances of winning.. hahahah.. look at them~~~

then there are showcases of dogs! all kinds all breeds.. zy n denise [both vet students] are both very excited as they point out the breeds and frantically taking photos with them. pardon me. i'm not much of an animal person. but look! the poodle actually stood still while crazy women tried to make her look PRETTY........
then we went to this really cool place where u can get free samples of dairy products.. u have to queue in a certain fashion.. such that right after i receive my 1st sample [choco honeycomb yogurt] i'm actually starting to queue for the next one [passionfruit tarts].. and it went on for abt 10 different stalls.. we ended with the coldest ice cream.. which comes in the shape of tiny little balls.. i think we have tt in singapore. but it tastes better over here.. they have more milky flavour to it..
we went to take a break at a cafe somewhere.. this place is so huge that u can still get lost with a map n road signs.. lols. we waited for zx to come over.. while we explore wad we had in our showbags..
zy got a GlowBag.. just because she wanted the light saber.. lol. but it came with other light sticks and glow bands.. which r quite cool. my wonka's bag was filled with Nerds, Gobstoppers n other wonka sweets.. gobstoppers r actually quite fun.. it's candy with lots of different layer different flavours.. so as u eat it.. u'll slowly taste the diff flavours.
zx decided to stay in the cafe to study so we took off to explore the carnival part.. n met a popsicle, milk carton and ice cream cone... lols.
n got ourselves yet again, foooood. hahaha.. it's twisty fries.. u noe how uncooked maggie mee looks like? well, it looks the same except tt it's potatoes n it's deep fried.. hahaha.. damn oily. but damn tasty. lols.
i didnt took any of the ride.. due to the intense pain in my brain.. n the howling wind.. but it looks fun~~~~
denise wanted this pink panther but in a blue jailed version.. lols. we played a few games to try to win it.. but failed! lols. oh well.
we decided to go book the spot of fireworks at abt 7pm.. after we listened to the jazz band.. it was still cold n we were shivering out at the main grounds.. so we bought dinner.. stuff spuds!! yum. stuff spuds r boiled potatoes which r cut in the middle n stuffed with different flavours [italian tomatoes, hawaiian..] and topped with sour cream & cheese.. pretty filling though.
we started to play with the glowing stuffs since it's dark...
and we went to take pictures of the carnival at night...
we came back.. met up with zx and his frens.. and we watched Horse Power while waiting for the fireworks.. it is a show with horses doing tricks like jumping over fire hoops n stuffs.. it's quite cool when they turned off the lights.. n said "and this is what they do when they r in the dark.."
and they lighted up the horses one by one.. so cuuuutee~~ the colourful little dots u see r the horses!
finally for the fireworks, as promised to xiaoming, i recorded the whole show.. which made my 24 bucks totally worthwhile.. it lasted for only 12mins.. but they coordinated it with music.. and seriously, it's even better than the australia's national day's fireworks.. there's zero need to mention singapore's.. lols. here r some pics from denise's cam..
well. i might have miss out some events in between.. but i seriously cant rmb anymore w/o the help of photos.. lols. and here's some of the stuffs i've got!
the wonka showbag came with a light saber as well.. haha.. might be giving to christal since it's pink.. [to kill bryce! muahaha.] and there's choco pretzels, a morish showbag with lots of mouth watering nuts.. cookie queen showbag which was going on sale and the 3 of us shared it.. so there's cookies and cream biscuits with all sorts of exotic flavours..
i had fun despite the headache n the cold.. i'm nicely wrapped up in blanket n blasting my heater now.. nose is running though.. it will be so much better if the weather is nice.. but one can never ask for too much. =D
a nice way to end my study break. from now on. it's project marathon. sigh.
